Background

I've been a part of the ASUCR Marketing Committee since Fall quarter of 2019, as both a graphic designer and a photographer! The photo of the girl with the dog is Luna, and the guy holding a basketball is Khy, both were subjects of a segment I started called "Highlander of the Week", where I featured a UCR student and did a 30-minute interview with them, posting a quote from the interview. The intentions of this segment were to give weight and transparency to the student body of UCR and showcase the students of UCR and what makes us so unique! As for the photos of people wearing R'Gear, those are shots I did myself to advertise R'Gear, an already anticipated subject that I wanted to have a different take on by doing a lookbook style of photography on, taking R'Gear to the same heights as high fashion, hyping it up and making UCR students even more prideful to wear those hoodies.
